How to dry wet cellphone safely

Your cellphone was on rain and it get wet. Or you dropped mobile in the sink. What to do now? You can try this. Remove the battery and SIM card immediately. Don't heat them, just leave them dry naturally. Remove as mush water from phone as it is possible. Do that with some towel or something like that.
